Strategic Partner Intern

Position: Strategic Partner Intern
Location: Remote or Hybrid (UCLA Campus)
Reports To: Strategic Partner Manager and CEO

Expected Duties and Responsibilities 

Identify New Opportunities: Seek out and secure strategic engagements with guidance from the manager.

Business Development: Identify potential customers, conduct background research, analyze customer needs, and develop value-added solutions to drive gross profit.

Lead Generation: Generate new business through prospecting, cold calling, scheduling appointments, and building relationships.

Negotiation: Apply your negotiation skills to land strategic partnerships with a mentorship with experienced staff.

Proposal Preparation: Assist in preparing proposals, bids, and presentations as needed. Revise and submit materials to companies and individuals, providing documentation for any modifications.

Customer Service: Deliver the highest level of customer service by customizing staffing solutions to meet client needs.

Market Strategies: Develop market strategies by researching lists of high-potential prospects.

Sales Outreach: Generate new sales leads through cold calling, email marketing, and social media outreach.

Value Presentation: Present the company's value proposition and address customer questions.

Reporting: Track and report on sales activities and results.

Product Knowledge: Learn the various products and services provided to explain to potential customers with confidence.

Remote Work: Ability to work remotely or hybrid setting (UCLA campus)

Partnership Building: Learn basic knowledge of how to build professional business relationships. 

•Training and Mentorship: You will be mentored and trained with experts in the industry.

Skill Building: Build confidence in reaching out to people you would normally talk to. Be comfortable with cold outreach and persistence despite frequent rejections. Learn a variety of skills: speaking, cold calling, outreach, writing, social media, pivoting

Record Keeping: Learn how to maintain detailed files on all interactions and transactions.

Track Record: Develop experience in facilitating, negotiating, and closing successful transactions for products and services.

Documents Received, Created, and Modified: Materials acquired shall remain confidential regarding trade secrets. Learn how to maintain confidentiality. NOTE:  Business relationships cultivated remain with the company.

 

Compensation

Please note that this is a volunteer position. We would like to provide you with a small stipend as a gesture of gratitude for your deliverables and professionalism. If, after your internship is over, we decide to hire you, we will offer you a commission opportunity.
