Ground Operations Policies and Procedures Analyst

To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as a Ground Operations Policy and Procedures Analyst in our American Regional Training Department. The primary responsibility of the position is to provide a quality product to our internal and external clients. This involves writing training programs/manuals, facilitating classes, and assisting with policy bulletins. The successful candidate will have knowledge of Eagle Ground Operations Manual (EGOM), below-the-wing policies and procedures, and Microsoft Office Suite. This position will report to the Manager, Ground Operations Training. 

 

Essential Duties:

  • Write training programs and manuals
  • Facilitate classes and assist with policy bulletins and/or writing
  • Special projects as assigned
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on below-the-wing policies

 

Job Qualifications and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of Eagle Ground Operations Manual (EGOM) and below-the-wing policies and procedures
  • Ability to work independently, set and meet own deadlines
  • Ability to work well with all levels of management and support staff
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • A MANAGER’S RECOMMENDATION LETTER IS REQUIRED

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One (1) year of ramp experience
  • One (1) year of deicing experience
  • Prior training experience in a corporate environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field 

 

Work Environment:

  • Standard office environment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment
  • Limited travel may be required

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time

Employment is contingent upon a clear driving record, 10-year Criminal History Records Check, and drug screen as required. We also require proof of high school or GED completion. Minimum 18 years of age.

 

Benefit package includes paid training, holiday pay, 401(k), vacation, and family travel on the American Airlines network.  Medical and dental available.

 

Starting Rate:

$48,000.00/Annual Salary - 69,000.00/Annual Salary (Based on locale and experience)
