Job Title:          LAB Technician I

Additional Job Description:

Primary responsibilities include:

- Operating various equipment for the preparation and testing of abrasive samples.

- Preparing and characterizing resin solutions using established formulations and testing methods.

- Conducting tests on abrasive samples in multiple forms.

- Preparing abrasive samples for testing.

- Documenting results and communicating observations during preparation and testing.

- Keeping equipment and lab space clean for safe operation.

Basic qualifications:

- High school diploma or GED.

- Two years of experience as a laboratory technician or in a relevant technical role, whether professional or through education/trade school.

Preferred qualifications and skills:

- Associate's or 2-year technical degree.

- Strong technical and/or mechanical background.

- Experience with pilot or production manufacturing equipment.

- Knowledge of safe chemical handling practices.

- Proactive and hands-on approach.

- Comfortable with equipment user interfaces and Microsoft Excel.

- Proficient in written and oral communication skills.
