Job Title: Pediatric Occupational Therapist

Position Overview: We are seeking a caring and skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized therapy services to children, focusing on enhancing their developmental skills, sensory processing, and functional independence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with children and their families, collaborate with dedicated professionals, and contribute to meaningful outcomes in pediatric healthcare in the lives of our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of pediatric patients to determine therapy needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings and family priorities.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve fine motor skills, sensory integration, self-care abilities, and social-emotional development.
  • Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and maximize patient progress.
  • Utilize evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques to achieve therapeutic goals.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and educational workshops to support professional growth and clinical excellence.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Knowledge of developmental milestones, sensory processing disorders, and pediatric conditions impacting occupational performance.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport with children and collaborate effectively with families and team members.
  • Passion for pediatric healthcare and a commitment to fostering a supportive and nurturing environment for children.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with assistive technology, adaptive equipment, and splinting for pediatric populations.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation purposes.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
