Graduate Engineer - Transportation

Prepare Work Zone Traffic Control Plans. Inspect and Evaluate Drainage Structures, Roadbeds, and Bridges to support Road Use Agreements. Inspect Intelligent Transportation System installations.  Prepare calculations and analyses for Site Development Traffic Impact Analyses (SDTIA). Prepare Traffic Signal Design Plans. Prepare Signing and Pavement Marking Plans. Assist with Corridor Traffic Signal Retiming Plans. Prepare calculations and analyses for Renewable (Wind/Solar/Battery Storage) Traffic Impact Analyses (RTIA). Complete field work associated with tasks identified in the job summary.

 

Job Requirements:

1.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from ABET accredited university.

2. Two (2) years transportation/traffic operations and design engineering experience.

3. Candidate must be proficient with the following software:

  • Microsoft Excel, Word
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D, AutoTURN
  • Vistro, Highway Capacity Software, SIDRA
  • Synchro/SimTraffic, TruTraffic
  • RapidPlan

4. Must have passed the Professional Engineer (Civil) exam.

5. Must have current authorization to be employed in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.
