Registered Nurse (RN) - Overnights

Zenith Behavioral Health is an Adolescent Residential Treatment Center dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care for teens struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. Our mission is to empower young individuals and their families to achieve lasting recovery and wellness through innovative, evidence-based treatment programs.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Zenith is seeking an empathic, eager and engaging Nurse to provide care to youth in need, in a residential setting. You'll be responsible for tending to medical, psychiatric, individual and at times, group care, alongside members of a multidisciplinary treatment team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Administer health assessments and complete required documentation
- Providing health education on a variety of topics to clients, including but not limited to general health care, medication, diabetes, safe sex, co-occurring diagnoses, and nutrition
- Provide resource materials to patients
- Medication administration
- Treatment planning
- Collaboration with medical and psychiatric providers
QUALIFICATIONS:
- This position requires active licensure by the AZ Board of Nursing Education and Nurse Registration, either LPN or RN
- Must be eligible to obtain Level I fingerprint and a clear background check
- Two years working with individuals with psychiatric disabilities, preferred
- Knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques used in general and psychiatric nursing; medicines and narcotics and their effect upon the patient; theories of personality growth and development; available community resources, preferred
- Ability to work on a team and possess good communication skills, both oral and written
- Current CPR, BLS certifications preferred, but will provide
