Hotel General Manager

GreenTree is actively seeking a creative, innovative, and ambitious individual to be our Hotel General Manager at the GreenTree Inn Flagstaff.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for managing daily hotel operations.
  • Improve hotel's overall performance and achieve budget/plan
  • Oversee service quality, operational efficiency, guest satisfaction and brand standards compliance
  • Hire, train and monitor team member performance, providing supervision, professional development, scheduling and evaluations
  • Conduct staff meetings and work with team to set and achieve goals
  • Conduct guestroom, cleanliness and general property inspections
  • Monitor daily room inventory and comp set rates to ensure competitiveness and assess price-value
  • Coordinate and lead sales & marketing activities, including local sales
  • Conduct monthly meetings with Corporate Office on hotel performance
  • Experience in forecasting, budgeting and P&L management

REQUIREMENTS, QUALIFICATIONS AND DESIRED TRAITS

  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management or Business, preferred
  • At least 2-3 years of related work experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager.
  • Ability to take ownership of activities and follow through to completion.
  • Experience in a fast-pace, high energy and demanding work environment.
