Registered Nurse

Job Summary:

Are you a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the exciting healthcare team at hospitals and long-term care facilities in Maryland and Virginia? The RN will be responsible for providing direct patient care, assessing patients' conditions, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. NurseAmerica is seeking RNs for immediate openings in hospitals and urgent care centers in the region. We provide training and licensure support for fresh graduates and visa sponsorship for international applicants.


 

Responsibilities:

Assess patients' health conditions and needs.

Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.

Monitor patients' vital signs and symptoms, and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.

Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatments, and preventive care measures.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.

Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.

Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.

Adhere to established nursing standards, protocols, and procedures.


 

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current RN license in the relevant state or possesses a Compact license as applicable.

Clinical nursing experience preferred.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

May need to pursue BLS and ACLS certifications as required for certain positions.

Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
