What You Can Expect as an Occupational Therapist at our Meridian Outpatient Neuro Clinic:
St. Luke's outpatient Neuro therapy program is a fast-paced and stimulating work environment focused on treating neurological disorders such as stroke, brain injury (mild to traumatic), movement disorders, spinal cord injuries and cancer rehab.
- We have a CARF accredited Outpatient Brain Injury Program and an Outpatient Spinal Cord Injury Program in which we work closely as an interdisciplinary team (OT, PT, ST, Rec, MSW, Neuropsych, a psychiatrist and the program coordinator) with the patients/families to ensure the best outcomes and quality of life.
- We provide specialty clinics such as Movement Disorder Clinic and ALS clinic.
- We pride ourselves in providing evidence-based practice utilizing neuro handling techniques and equipment such as Saebo and Neuro IFRAH.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts
Qualifications:
- Education: Degree from an accredited occupational therapy program
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Valid license to practice occupational therapy in state of practice.
- Current CPR certification
- Preferred qualifications:
- Neuro experience
