True Light Family Resource Center (TRFRC) serves individuals and families by providing for critical needs, connecting to community resources, and teaching job and life skills in a safe and supportive environment. TLFRC continues to evolve programs to meet the needs of at-risk individuals in the urban community who are multi-ethnic, homeless, hungry, addicted or without hope. TLFRC stands as a strong partner for community change.

Member Duties : Become acquainted with the overall work of the agency and the clients served; Formulate an action plan to increase number of volunteers; Teach identified staff the basis of volunteer recruitment systems that have been deployed; and Engage in ongoing professional development during 5% of your time as a VISTA.
