The National Institute for the Advancement of Education (NIAE) invites applicants for the position of NIAE Content Creator/Developer. The NIAE content creator/developer will work with  researchers and educational organizations to successfully brainstorm, plan and design content for synchronous and asynchronous professional development courses for the NIAE.

The candidate will work with the NIAE team to help develop content for 3- to 4-week long non-credit courses based on real-world topics, integrate multiple learning outcomes across subject areas and related hands-on learning experiences. NIAE uses LMS platforms to share course materials with participants. The candidate must demonstrate advanced skills setting up courses in LMS platforms such as Canvas. Past themes include Career & Life Navigation, Homelessness & Housing Vulnerability, STEM Engagement, etc. 

The candidate will also design built-in assessment tools & develop FAQ's focused on the development of each participant taking our training courses.

This position is well suited for a person with curriculum and instruction training. While candidates with doctoral degrees are preferred, master's students with comparable experience are encouraged to apply.

This position is project-based with the possibility of renewal, contingent upon performance and availability of funding.
