Business Development Associate

At Bioactive Services, we’re passionate about improving lives through science. We develop and sell some of the most sought-after dietary supplements on the market, backed by real science and real results, and insist on having some fun along the way. Our products are scientifically developed through results-driven research and formulated with the finest ingredients, and we are looking for a Business Development Associate to develop new business and increase sales in North America. 

Responsibilities:

  •  Understand and address both business and scientific oriented needs. 
  •  Promote products and services through direct sales to prospective accounts to meet or exceed sales budget
  •  Generate and develop new business and solicit new customers while forecasting in order to ensure budget is achieved
  •  Maintain existing customer relationships to increase sales and profits. 
  •  Work closely with customer service, technical service and top management to meet customer needs and business goals. 
  •  Provide visit reports with detailed information of items discussed, competitive information and industry developments
  •  Record daily activity in CRM system and maintain current and prospective contact information by account
  •  Attend trade shows and deliver the concept of Bioactive Services to existing and potential customers. 
  •  Develop a detailed understanding for the competitive landscape and market drivers
  •  Ensure company sales targets are met

Requirements:

  •  BS degree (Food Science, Chemistry, Biology Nutrition, Science or similar) preferred. 
  • Successful sales experience in the related industries or prior technical R&D experience and have a sound understanding of ingredient applications will be preferred. 
  •  Must be self-motivated, results oriented individual with a pleasing personality, have good oral and written communication skills and be organized. 
  •  Aptitude for learning technical and scientific product-related information. 
  •  Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products
  •  Willing to travel frequently: 30-50% travel. 
  • Valid driver's license

 

Location: Hybrid. 

 

Compensation: salary + commission + benefits
