Summer Internship at LAX (Paid)

LAWA is offering a Summer Internship Program this summer, which provides our incoming class of interns with constructive work experience in a variety of actual airport work environments and provides mentoring and networking opportunities with LAWA employees. Additionally, our Program offers students additional knowledge from on-the-job exposure as well as allows LAWA supervisors the opportunity to mentor and hire temporary assistance to support their various projects.

The program runs from May 2024 to September 2024. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and currently attend a two or 4-year college/university. Interns are paid $18.78/hour. • Open to both undergraduate and graduate college students.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Available to work at least 20 hours per week.

• Must already have U.S. work authorization.

• Must present Government issued ID & Social Security Card upon hire.

Interns will perform work of limited scope and difficulty under the supervision of technical or professional supervisors in a variety of technical or professional fields including (but not limited to): Aviation Management, Finance, Data Science, Transportation Planning & Engineering, Environmental Science, Information Technology, Human Resources, Law Enforcement, and Public Relations.
