Triage Intake Support Unit Coordinator

Overview:

Specialized paraprofessional work for the Department of Mental Health including active professional support, consultation, problem-solving, and guidance statewide on the movement of individuals proposed for involuntary treatment services. Frequent interaction and procedural guidance is required with community mental health staff, law enforcement personnel, legal department, clinical and administrative leadership 24/7. Work is performed under the supervision of the VPCH Director of Hospital Operations. Duties include migrating from a paper-based system to an electronic system of record, production of statistical reports, and addressing immediate case management and complicated disposition needs. All employees of the Agency of Human Services perform their respective functions adhering to four key practices: customer service, holistic service, and strengths-based relationships and results orientation.

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

Three (3) years working in a psychiatric care setting including one (1) year of supervisory experience.
