Engineering Support Summer 2024 Internship

Is an internship focused on changing the world's energy future intriguing? If so, we might have just the opportunity you're looking for!

Reporting to the Engineering Process Design and Realization group, you will enhance the system design and integration capabilities for bioenergy, advanced manufacturing, and robotics work. The candidate must have strong applied computer aided drafting (CAD) skills. The candidate must have a foundational education in engineering principles related to dynamics of mechanisms, heat transfer, fluids, and solid mechanics. The intern will work in a team environment. Therefore, we are looking for an individual with an open mindset and a willingness to learn and advance their engineering skillset.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Undergraduate student enrolled full time at an accredited college/university studying Engineering or Materials Science
  • Experience or coursework in CAD
  • A minimum overall 3.0 GPA
  • Authorization to work in the U.S. (including CPT and OPT)

Compensation and Benefits:

Undergraduate Internships ($25.65/hour - $30.70/hour)

Masters Internships and PhD Internships Pre-Candidacy ($31.75/hour - $34.06/hour)

PhD Internships Post-Candidacy ($33.75/hour - $36.06/hour)

Eligible interns are provided paid holiday time off, and many of our internships offer travel reimbursements.

Multi-Level: This is a multi-level posting and you will be placed at the appropriate level dependent on degree field and level of education.
