US Market Access Evidence Internship

General Description:

This 10 –12 week internship offers the opportunity to gain valuable Market Access knowledge and experience within the commercial organization of a rapidly growing, patient centric, biotech company. You will both lead and support meaningful initiatives related to obtaining evidence that supports access and reimbursement for BeiGene’s lead product – Brukinsa. The individual will play a key role representing the department regarding activities such as strategic planning, cross-functional collaboration, and external partnerships.  In addition, the candidate will also have a business-critical core deliverable which you will present to a cross-functional group of internal stakeholders at the conclusion of the internship.

The position will directly support the Senior Director, US Market Access Evidence & Strategic Initiatives.

 

Essential Functions of the job:

US Market Access Evidence & Strategic Initiatives:

  • Ensure patients have access to our products and maintain treatment affordability
  • Help shape evidence strategies that deliver bold pharmaceutical innovations and medications to patients
  • Gain real-world experience working on high visibility assignments across the product cycle from concept to commercialization
  • Partner with the US Market Access, fHEOR & HEOR departments to drive efficiency, and communication/collaboration: intra-organizational, inter-departmental, and with external stakeholders and strategic partners
  • Support the team to align, and integrate the various department segment leaders: Pricing & Contracting, Payers & PBMs, Patient Services & Distribution, and Physician Networks and Organized Customers
  • Help represent Market Access function internally with cross-functional departments such as sales, sales leadership, marketing, COBA, finance and others as needed, promoting collaboration and effectiveness
  • Drive consistent communication and collaboration within the Market Access function and across the organization; identify opportunities for consensus

 

Skills & Competencies:

  • Excellent organization and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) with the confidence to bring ideas and speak up in meetings

Qualifications:

  • Student enrolled in a health-science and/or business undergraduate program at a 4-year accredited college or university, preferably a rising junior or senior
  • Current, cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and student must be returning to school in the Fall Term
  • Must be available to work up to 40 hours a week
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
  • Remote position

Pay Rate:  

$27.50/hour (Undergrad)
