Family Support Program Manager

Annual Salary: $107723.20 to $140046.40

Position Information:

Under general direction, manages, coordinates, and supervises the daily operations of the Family Support Division; plans, develops, and implements procedures for child support activities; and performs related work as required.
 

This is an Open Competitive/Countywide Promotional recruitment being conducted to fill a current vacancy at the District Attorney's Office. The list established from this recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies as they occur.

Minimum Qualifications:

A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in criminal justice, social work, organizational management, public administration, business administration, or a closely related field AND two years of full-time experience in program administration which included one year of full-time supervisory experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
 
License Or Certificate:

A valid driver’s license is required at the time of appointment.

  • Proven ability to lead a large team and grow staff capacity in a complex government program.
  • Strong proficiency in policy analysis, implementation, evaluations, and financial management with experience managing budgets exceeding $5 million.
  • Driven to resourcefully solve complex problems, take initiative, and exercise sound judgment to achieve outcomes.
  • Competence in writing reports, prioritizing projects, and handling multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the capability to engage positively and effectively with staff and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with executive leadership, management, attorneys, court staff, elected officials, contractors, clients, vendors, and other agencies.
  • Demonstrated capacity to adapt to change with a growth mindset.
  • Effective communicator, active listener.
  • Brings effective interpersonal skills; approachable, engaging, team oriented.
  • Coach staff, be respectful, supportive, builds trust, creates a strong teams and values others' input.
