Primary Responsibilities

This position will be responsible for the coordination of technical activities on assigned projects. These projects involve a broad range of municipal-related infrastructure projects, including civil, land development, water, wastewater, storm water, and transportation projects.

❖ Planning, conducting and coordinating the technical and production aspects of projects.

❖ Accountability for successful completion of assigned engineering tasks/projects.

❖ Regular and effective communication and contact with assigned Project Managers.

❖ Assist in the marketing of KM’s services and the preparation of engineering project proposals.

❖ Participation in client/contractor meetings and resolution of client/engineering project issues.

❖ Determine project schedules by studying scope of work, communicating with Project Manager, and calculating time required to complete project elements.

❖ Maintain project schedule by monitoring progress, coordinating activities, and resolving issues.

Job Qualifications/Requirements

❖ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited curriculum EIT

❖ EIT is required (or within 6 months of employment)

❖ Experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D

❖ Strong communication skills

❖ Valid Driver’s License required

❖ Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team and/or independently
