LEDA Career Fellow Application

The 2024 LEDA Career Fellow Application is open! 

 

This year LEDA will be admitting rising sophomores and rising juniors into the Career Fellows program. All accepted LEDA Career Fellows will attend the annual LEDA Career Institute at no cost, which will take place at NYU Law in New York City from August 6th - 10th. 

 

LEDA’s goal is to expose student leaders from under-resourced backgrounds to a wide range of career opportunities that exist across sectors and help them translate this knowledge into a career that will be rewarding and transformative.  

 

Encourage students to attend the Career Fellows Program Information Session on Tuesday, March 26 at 6pm ET

 

During the Career Institute Fellows will:

  • Gain exposure to diverse career industries/sectors
  • Develop the foundation for a strong professional network
  • Receive 1:1 career coaching
  • Participate in career development workshops, panels & skills sessions
  • Attend employer partner information sessions, professional development workshops and open office hours

 

Beyond the Career Institute Fellows will:

  • Receive ongoing support with resume building, interview preparation, postgraduate planning, and applying to jobs/internships
  • Receive 1:1 career coaching
  • Join a robust community of LEDA Scholars, Fellows and employer partners
  • Gain exclusive access to job and internship opportunities
  • Complete a self-guided career readiness check-list during the academic school year. Fellows who complete all components of the career readiness check-list will receive a certificate of completion in May 2025.

 

Eligibility

  • Rising college Sophomore or Junior at a four year college or university (Class of 2026 or 2027)
  • 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Has demonstrated leadership on their college campus or in their community
  • Annual household income < 90K
