Legal Assistant (Spanish Required)

West Coast Trial Lawyers, a Downtown Los Angeles law firm, seeks a bilingual legal assistant for their Personal Injury Department.

No experience? No problem! We are open to all entry-level applicants who are searching for an opportunity to start their professional journey within the legal field. At WCTL we will provide you with all the necessary tools and in-depth training to successfully navigate personal injury claims. The ideal candidate must be eager to learn and work in a team environment where growth is dictated by the effort they put in.

Job Description:

  • Interacting with adjusters and medical providers
  • Sending letters of representation
  • Opening insurance claims
  • Confirming coverages
  • Requesting police reports
  • Preparing DMV forms
  • Negotiating property damage claims
  • Coordinating medical treatment
  • Negotiating bodily injury claims
  • Case management

REQUIREMENTS

  • Fluency in Spanish
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented
  • Easily operate in a fast-paced work environment
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Excellent written, verbal, and organizational skills

PREFERENCES

  • Experience handling personal injury matters
  • Knowledge of any legal software program (Filevine, Abacus Law, Clio, etc.)
