Entry-Level Paralegal (Starts ASAP in DC)

Applicants must currently be local to the Washington, DC area as this position requires on-site work at least three days/week.

Our client, one of the world’s largest global law firms is seeking an entry-level Business Immigration Analyst / Paralegal to join a busy team of legal professionals that work on a wide range of US non-immigrant and immigrant matters. The successful candidate will have strong writing skills, recently earned their Bachelor degree, GPA of 3.3 or higher, and a sincere interest in business immigration law. The client is also seeking applicants that will be with them for a minimum of one year, ideally 2+ before law school. Relevant internship experience focused in law, research, and/or writing is strongly preferred. Availability for daily and weekend overtime is a must.

·      Day to day responsibilities will be to assist foreign nationals and/or clients with applying H-1B and L nonimmigrant visas, and employment based permanent residency. In this role you will draft letters and cases, assist with legal research, perform administrative job duties, and provide assistance with special projects as needed.
