Summary:
Providing 1-on-1 care, the Physical Therapists is a health care professional who diagnoses and treats individuals of all ages, from newborns to the very oldest, that have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives. Physical therapist will evaluate each patient, develop a plan of care appropriate to the patient's needs and implement that plan of care, reassessing as needed.  Services are provided to patients throughout the A.R. Gould Hospital acute care floors, skilled nursing floors, outpatients at both the hospital and long-term care facilities.
