About Our Firm
Ovist & Howard, CPA’s is fully licensed to practice public accounting within the state of Nevada. Since 1980, our firm has been providing professional audit, accounting, bookkeeping, consulting, and tax services to our clients.

As a public accounting firm, the majority of our professionals are licensed CPAs. Recent college graduates joining our Firm have a primary professional goal of meeting the rigorous qualifications necessary to successfully complete the Nevada Certified Public Accountancy Exam and obtain their CPA license. In addition, our professionals acquire a minimum of 40 hours of continuing professional education each year, paid for by the firm.

Our firm’s emphasis is to build a trusted relationship with our clients, deliver value, and target ways to help contribute to their success. We interact with our clientele on a daily basis with the utmost confidential, ethical, and professional standards. Because of this, our clients rely on us as their business advisers. We work extremely hard to go beyond providing traditional accounting services by focusing on understanding our client’s business, operations, and the challenges they face. These skills differentiate us and allow us to focus on our clients and their individual needs.

Position
Ovist & Howard, CPA’s is looking to hire one-two full-time accountants starting in January 2023. The new team member will be working on several areas of audits, performing their own review and compilation of financials statements, and preparing partnership and corporate income tax returns.

·        Plan for obtaining 150 credits to sit for CPA exam – no need to have all 150 at hire date
