Social Worker

The Silver Lining Group (SLG) is an inclusive and diverse organization that implements evidence-based ABA therapy for autistic children and young adults, as well as those diagnosed with related mental health disorders.  As a Licensed Social Worker, you will be working with a small team committed to helping kids learn and thrive. We are currently looking for ambitious, passionate, smart and experienced professional to join this team. The Licensed Social Worker works directly with families and staff for our clients of all ages. They are an integral part of the treatment that is received by our clients from intake to discharge. The Licensed Social Worker position is full time Monday-Friday, center-based position. 

What is a Licensed Social Worker?  
  • Licensed Social Worker position requires a self-motivated, organized, and strong demeanor
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • Ability to multitask 
  • Responsible for completing intake paperwork  
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis preferred
  • Conducts person-centered assessments to determine eligibility for services and participates in and approves the development of individual service plans. 
  • Will be trained in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention
  •  Will provide supervision of the Program Managers with their client's individual service plans 
  •  Provide counseling and or training sessions to clients and family members when needed
  • Updates and maintain the client’s confidential records 
  • Meets required billing hours for each client monthly  
  • Participates in supervisory meetings  
  • Monitors and documents clients progress with IEP and ISP goals  
  • Under the direct supervision of the Licensed Independent Social Worker, the Licensed Social Worker will follow all regulations and requirements to ensure the highest quality of treatment is provided.

Requirements: 
  •  Must be licensed as a LSW, LISW or LISW-S  (or be working towards licensure)
  • experience working with children/adolescents diagnosed with autism, developmental disabilities and/or mental health disorders. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
