Manufacturing and Quality Engineers

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Execute equipment qualification, process validation project(s), nonconformances and CAPA tasks
  • Creating, maintaining, and improving controlled technical documents such as prints, procedures, routers, BOMs
  • Supporting a wide variety of processing applications such as machining, finishing, forging, casting, cleaning, heat treating, bonding, molding, etc.
  • Analyze capital equipment, capacity, and capability requirements
  • Establishing and improving process methods that meet performance and quality requirements
  • Executing project plans and schedules for work activities
  • Communicate (written and verbal) direction and project plans with appropriate personnel from other departments.
  • Evaluating multiple options to select the most appropriate processes

 

Technical/Functional Skills:

  • Experience/exposure in manufacturing & quality processes and procedures, equipment qualification, manufacturing process validation, Change Management, Nonconformance Process, Engineering Specifications, Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), Work Instructions & Proficient with Statistical Process Control (SPC) concepts, Process Development, CNC programming terminology, and tooling design concepts, 3D Printing, Automation
  • Competence in drafting standards and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Ability to balance manufacturing, quality and design requirements to meet customer requirements
  • Ability to lead and prioritize multiple medium-complexity project tasks and complete work in a timely manner
  • Good problem-solving skills using quality & statistical tools
  • Ability to effectively work within a cross-functional team to complete critical project tasks
  • Demonstrates good written & verbal communication skills
  • Microsoft Office Suite and Project
