Summer Camp Advisory Team is the provider of Rancho Summer Camp in Scottsdale, AZ. Our mission is to enrich the lives of children by simultaneously fostering fun and building character. Leadership, teamwork, preparation, initiative, and effort are life skills echoed repeatedly throughout our curriculum. We hire experienced and extraordinary teachers, coaches, and students of education, who are dedicated to cultivating these skills.

 A Rancho Summer Camp Counselor will daily implement a supplied day camp curriculum using supplied materials for a small group of campers ages 3-12. Counselors lead a wide variety of camp activities and classes, while being responsible for the safety, enjoyment, and emotional well-being of every IDEAS summer camper.

Job Description:  

As a Roblox Camp Counselor, your primary responsibilities are:

  • Creatively teach cool, innovative concepts to campers in grades K-8
  • To be punctual, professional, and flexible at all times
  • Work with a team of professional instructors to deliver the Roblox Curriculum to campers in grades K-8
  • Supervise camper behaviors and groups
  • Have reliable transportation to each location you are working

Anticipated Work Hours Per Week:

40 hours

Schedule: Camp operates Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. *Shifts are arranged with the Camp Director and posted weekly.

Camp Dates: May 28 - July 12

Must be able to attend required training:

  • In-person PAID training on Saturday, May 25 & Sunday, May 26 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Webinar - TBD

Technology Experience Necessary:

Little to none. Our training accommodates those with a positive attitude and the willingness to learn.  However, prior experience working in or with technology-related clubs, competitions, programs, or organizations (i.e.: First Robotics, SeaPerch, or other Robotics competitions) is preferred.
