Sales Resident

Come join our successful medical device sales team!  Looking to start your career in medical device sales?  Global medical device manufacturer, DeRoyal, has a great opportunity for you!  DeRoyal's sales residency program offers candidates the opportunity to gain entry level sales training and experience within the medical manufacturing and supply market. This position is approximately 12-15 months in length, and is based out of the DeRoyal corporate office, located in Powell, TN. Sales residents are given the opportunity to work and rotate through various company departments and facilities in order to build their knowledge of both corporate and sales operations. During this time, residents are expected to assist with various company projects, while also continuing to develop professionally through in-house training.  Outside sales training is also afforded by assisting outside sales representatives with product conversions and system installations, while working closely with customers. The residency includes inside sales training as the middle part of the program, where residents are converted into inside sales representatives and given an inside sales territory to manage through prospecting, cold calling, and managing existing customer accounts over the phone. This role prepares candidates for the final stage of the program, Associate Account Representative.  This role prepares candidates for a possible outside sales position in the future, while also giving a more accurate view of the overall sales process, and providing valuable sales experience while helping manage open sales territories. Throughout the sales residency program, DeRoyal offers a base salary plus monthly housing stipend, relocation assistance, and company-wide advancement opportunities.

Requirements:  
Qualified candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree (minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5) and a willingness to travel & relocate. Candidates should have a professional attitude, appearance, and enthusiasm to sell medical supplies, as well as proactiveness and adaptability within the workforce. Additional requirements include excellent communication and computer skills, as well as dedication and discipline to professional growth and development.
