Wafer Process Integration Engineer

Based in Southern California with locations in Malibu, Calabasas and Camarillo; HRL has been on the leading edge of technology, conducting pioneering research and advancing the state of the art. 

General Description:

Process Integration Engineer is needed to support device fabrication and process-development in a cleanroom laboratory under general supervision.

Essential Duties:

Work in a Class 10 (ISO-4) Cleanroom environment under general supervision, perform tasks including but not limited to:

•Collaborate with program teams and process modules to develop fabrication process routes and travelers

•Track wafers and analyze cycle time data to ensure operational efficiency

•Design and execute device fabrication process development and process improvement projects

•Lead multi-disciplinary root cause analysis and problem solving efforts

•Inspect and process wafers when needed

Required Skills:

•Detail oriented, problem solver, promotes team environment

•Demonstrate a sense of urgency in completing work assignments

•Good time-management and organizational skills

•Ability to flexibly adapt to changing schedules and priorities

•Computer/software skills (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, JMP)

•Ability to establish and foster positive customer relationships

•Strong communication skills

Required Education:

Bachelor Degree or higher in a physical science or engineering field.  Microfabrication experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements: 

Must be able to work within a cleanroom environment wearing typical personal protective equipment. 

Walking and/or standing may be required for 50-70% of the day.

Must be organized and able to manage multiple tasks running in parallel.

Special Requirements:

Compensation:

The base salary range for this full-time position is $96,800 - $118,600 + bonus + benefits. 

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire salaries for the position. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
