Excellent full-time opportunity to work in a management role while making a difference in the lives of others!

 

As the Senior Site Supervisor, you will:

  • Assist individuals with their ADLs such as hygiene, cooking meals, etc. and help them to function as independently as possible in a variety of home life situations and community settings
  • Complete the ISP documentation which includes assessments, support strategies, modification of ISP and progress notes as required
  • Attend meetings with DDS and follow up with the Program Director or Director of Residential Services as required
  • Ensure that house meetings are regularly scheduled and that minutes are kept in the house meeting notebook
  • Implement systems and lines of communication with program staff, DDS, families, guardians and other involved providers to ensure that individuals receive quality services in their home
  • Participate in the interviewing, hiring, orientation an training of staff who possess the qualifications and qualities to meet program needs
  • Provide supervision and participates in evaluation and disciplinary action for assigned staff, in accordance with agency and division policies and timelines
  • Develop and post the monthly staffing schedule commensurate with individual needs and within budget limitations, including necessary scheduling of relief and overtime staffing
  • Track staff compliance with mandated orientation, training and certification requirements for their position
  • Ensuring a safe living environment by knowing emergency plans, fire escape routes, and safely store medications
  • Manage all expense reports in an organized manner

 

Comprehensive orientation and training is provided.

 

Schedule: Monday - Friday 10am - 6pm (40 hours/week)

Required Skills

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.


 

Required Experience

Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.

  • A minimum of three years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities with at least one year in residential services required.
