POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Systems Intern position will assist and provide support to the Zekelman Industries Technical Team at the Farrell, PA and Niles, OH Facilities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct process audits to plant standard operating procedures and document results.
- Working closely with plant quality, operation and maintenance personnel, review, and update documents to reflect current format and processes with addition of failure modes and reaction plans.
- Conducts and documents training on updated procedures.
- Other projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college/university preferably in the technical field i.e. Material Science, Engineering, Chemistry, etc.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of all aspects of job responsibilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient computer skills (word processing and spreadsheets).
- Regular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this role.
