Our client, Med device is seeking a Buyer to join their team.
Job Title: Buyer I
Location: Westfield ,IN
Pay Range: $29-$31
What’s the Job?
- 100% onsite but potential for hybrid flexibility depending on candidate performance. Potential to extend to FTE for the right candidate.
- Fresh college grad okay. Degree preferred (any Business degree will work) but HS diploma okay if candidate has a few years of experience preferably in medical device or manufacturing (up to 3 years).
- Will be working as the site buyer purchasing materials and/or services.
- Must be able to work independently and also cross functionally across different departments in a professional manner. This role will manage inventory, purchasing activities, planning, forecasting, receiving and meeting the overall supply demands of the production facility.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills along with attention to detail.
- Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. Evaluates vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers.
