Job Summary:

 

The Center for Analytics & Data Science (CADS) at Miami University (Oxford, OH) is searching for an Assistant Director responsible for overseeing and supporting the Faculty Fellows program, including but not limited to providing administrative and logistical support for the faculty members leading the student projects for our corporate partners and our micro-credential boot camps and workshops. The Assistant Director will assist in onboarding student interns and assistants, as well as tracking their hours worked. They will work with staff and Faculty Fellows to provide logistical support for DataFest, Summer Scholars and related programs, and staff the Learning Lab facility during university operating hours to assist the Miami community.

 

Duties/Physical Demands:

Oversee Faculty Fellows Program
Guide faculty members overseeing corporate student projects
Onboard and guide student assistants and student interns
Staff the Learning Lab facility during university operating hours to assist students & faculty
Facilitate logistics for boot camps and other micro-credential workshops
Provide logistics support for DataFest, Summer Scholars and related programs

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a STEM or STEM-related field
3-5 years working in a collaborative team environment

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Experience working in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Access and SQL
