Job Description

 

This role leverages technical mastery in skin biology and histology/LCM capability to build novel skin, such as penetration/bioavailability understanding to drive skin care regimen or synergistic bioactive formulations propositions as examples. The candidate will guide and influence technical project direction to solve new-to-the world technical problems by leveraging scientific skills and strong foundational R&D understanding developed through hands-on experimentation/application. We expect our science to be at publishable levels to support credentialing efforts for the global business.

 

The candidate can expect to learn what types of science and technical story telling resonates with business leaders and the skin care market. Candidates are required to have strong communications skills and technical thought leadership as they will be given the space to recommend how to position this capability for the future within P&G.

 

Job Qualifications

 

We are looking for a Postdoc scientist in Biology/Biochemistry or Life Sciences.

 

 

     * Solid foundation in experimental techniques. Excellent in problem solving skills.

     * Demonstrated experience Franz diffusion cell and/or in skin explant experimentation.

     * Experience running ELISA, DNA/RNA isolation and enzyme assays.

     * Strong ownership & self-leadership skills to understand the business objectives and technical problem to be solved, collaborate with project team for test method development and technology development.

     * The ability to recognize opportunities for capabilities or technologies that can be reapplied across programs.

     * Abilities to independently work project priorities, multi-task, and handle a wide variety of complex, non-routine/routine tasks in a fast-paced environment.
