Staff Auditor (Entry Level)

For this particular engagement we will be assisting in The U.S. Navy audit. It is not only one of the largest audits in the Federal Government, but also one of the largest audits in the world! See things on an audit you’ve never seen before! 

 

Responsibilities:   

  • Development of work papers supporting your work completed.  
  • Review and test general ledger amounts, financial statements, internal controls, and accounting system reports.  
  • Perform and document internal control walkthroughs with the client. 
  • Perform reconciliations between the general ledger and information submitted to the Federal Government.  
  • Compile and analyze financial data.  

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or business-related field. 
  • License/Education Preferred: CPA or 150 Credit hours to sit for CPA exam. 
  • Great written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
  • Strong attention to detail. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word). 
  • Security Clearance: Must currently maintain or have the ability to obtain a minimum of a secret clearance (US Citizenship required).
