Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team and contribute to the production of impactful Public Service Announcement (PSA) 100-second reels. As a Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in crafting compelling and visually appealing PSAs that effectively communicate important messages to our vulnerable citizens falling for the many scams impacting our society.
Location: Remote
Compensation: Stipend for all videos edited and formatted for Youtube, facebook, instagram, tiktok and more. All content will be provided. Rage between 100 to 300 dollars.
Responsibilities:
· Collaborate with the creative team to understand the objectives and messaging of each PSA project.
· Edit raw footage into polished, concise 100-second reels while maintaining the intended message and emotional impact.
· Select and incorporate suitable music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance the storytelling.
· Ensure smooth transitions, seamless visual effects, and appropriate pacing to engage the audience.
· Implement color correction, audio enhancement, and other post-production processes to optimize the overall quality of the PSAs.
· Review and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to refine the final edits.
· Stay up to date with industry trends, techniques, and software to continuously improve editing skills and efficiency.
Requirements:
· Proven experience as a Video Editor, preferably with a portfolio showcasing previous work in PSA production or related projects.
· Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
· Strong understanding of visual storytelling, composition, and pacing.
· Familiarity with color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics.
· Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
· Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a team.
· Strong communication skills to understand project requirements and incorporate feedback.
· Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience working on social issues, public health, or community-oriented campaigns.
· Knowledge of current trends and best practices in public service messaging.
· Understanding of various video formats and optimization for different platforms.
