STIP Substitute: Full-Time, Site-Based Teacher Eligibility Pool (2023-24)
STIP teachers shall be eligible for the extended rate on the first day of service as a substitute: ($284.44 per day).
This posting is for candidates who would like to be considered for any and all STIP Substitute eligibility pool openings at OUSD. This is not an advertisement of a current vacancy at OUSD but rather an opportunity to submit applications to be screened for anticipated vacancies. School Site Based Substitute
A participant in the Substitute Teacher Incentive Plan (STIP) is a substitute teacher who serves at a specific school site every day for the entire period of the STIP contract and is required to report daily to an assignment of any grade level or subject area.
Qualifications:
- Must possess or be eligible for a California regular teaching credential authorizing service in Grades K-12 or an emergency 30-day teaching permit.
Requirements:
- Be prepared to work every instructional day as assigned on a day-to-day or long-term basis
- Sign a temporary contract designed specifically for this purpose
- Participate in district and/or school site in-services as assigned
- Two current professional references, including from a Supervisor
