Position: Land Development Project Manager/Project Engineer
Job Location: Twin Falls, ID
J-U-B ENGINEERS, Inc is hiring a Land Development Project Manager/Project Engineer to work in our Twin Falls, ID office. Our Land Development Group has long-term core clients who are developing some of the most interesting and challenging projects in the state, including single and multi-family residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. While applying technical, engineering knowledge and skills, this position will:
  • Oversee and direct Client / Project Development and Management.
  • Conduct initial client consultations, develop project scopes and budgets, and work with team members and subconsultants for engineering services.
  • Oversee, plan, design, implement, and provide peer review for quality control of infrastructure for primarily land development projects.
  • Participate in all phases of project development, planning, permitting, design, and construction.
  • Provide direction to design teams consisting of surveyors, designers, drafters, and planning support personnel.
  • Lead and interact with government agencies for necessary permits, access/crossing agreements, easements, encroachments, and other necessary requirements.
  • Collaborate with other engineers, architects, planners, sub-consultants, and public agencies on projects.
  • Work independently to manage project scopes, schedules, and budgets for engineering services.
  • Attend public meetings, public forums, and open houses to discuss project details and answer questions, as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license (or ability to obtain comity in Idaho within two months of starting work)
  • 8-10+ years of civil engineering design experience, specifically in land development related areas
  • AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience is preferred
  • 2+ years of client and/or project management with increasing responsibilities
