Program Coordinator 2 (PCN 06N22046-Data Modernization Lead)

What you will be doing:
Under the direction of the Public Health Deputy Director, this position is responsible for coordinating goals and objectives for the Epi, Lab Capacity Data Modernization federal grant. The incumbent will work closely with subject matter experts from public health sections and IT in order to prioritize data system activities and develop short- and long-term goals. The incumbent will oversee the development of a 5-year data system strategic plan which will include staff training programs that will ensure sustainability of public health data collection and reporting systems, and other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in any field.
AND
Three years of professional experience developing, planning, coordinating, and implementing a program, project, business, organization, or major components of a program. This experience must have included administrative authority over program/project funding, staff, and overall operations.
OR SUBSTITUTION:
Four years in any combination of post-secondary education from an accredited college (3 semester hours or 4 quarter hours equal one month of work experience) and technical or professional experience assisting with planning, coordinating, and implementing administrative controls, work processes, and procedures for a program, project, business, or organization, may substitute for the bachelor’s degree. There is no substitution for the required three years of professional experience.
OR SUBSTITUTION: 
A master’s degree from an accredited college in a field closely related to the specific field of the program may substitute for up to two years of the required experience (2 semester hours or 3 quarter hours equal one month of experience).
