Maintenance Planner I-II - Req 4640

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Plans and assists with the scheduling of maintenance work for Business Unit.
  • Coordinates work between Maintenance areas (Electrical, Mechanical and Instrument & Control), other plant departments and contractors.
  • Provides technical expertise and assists crews in solving equipment and production problems.
  • Expedites tools and materials prior to commencement of maintenance work assignments.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred degree in engineering, industrial technology, science, mathematics, business, or a related field) OR
  • Technical or Associate’s degree in a maintenance specialty (millwright, machining, welding, electrical, instrumentation) OR
  • High school diploma or equivalent AND completion of Maintenance Apprenticeship

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Maintenance Planner I: Two years or more plant maintenance (mechanical, electrical or instrument and control) or maintenance planning experience.
Maintenance Planner II: Five years or more plant maintenance (mechanical, electrical or instrument and control) or maintenance planning experience.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • This position will report regularly in person to Cohasset, MN
  • Requires proficient communication skills to establish and maintain productive working relationships.
  • Materials planning and work management system experience is desirable.
  • This position may be subject to Color Perception Test. 
  • This position may be subject to assessment of skills, job match and/or aptitude.
