Contracts Administrator

Title: Contracts Administrator
Position Type: Full-time
FLSA Status: Exempt
Salary: $60,000–$70,000 (based on experience) + annual bonus

Summary
JBA is seeking a Contracts Administrator to join our team. The Contracts Administrator will ensure all involved departments and project groups are aligned efficiently to meet deadlines quickly and smoothly. Manage timelines and improve processes to exceed internal and external stakeholder’s expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide support over the entire award lifecycle in administrating contracts, subcontracts, grants, NDAs
  • Draft and -review a variety of contracts and modifications with clients
  • Ensure that all contract records are accurate and up to date
  • Meet with clients to discuss both legal and business matters
  • Support effective award implementation by providing guidance and interpreting terms and conditions
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met
  • Create, prepare, review and negotiate all contracts
  • Provide support and advice on new potential businesses opportunities
  • Preparing and issuing subcontract closeout documents
  • Provide support to develop business proposal budget and manage multiple priority tasks and proposals effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes and devise plans to implement these changes

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Accounting/Finance or Business Administration
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of legal and contracting terminology
  • Comfortable working as part of a multidimensional team
  • Exemplify a strong attention to detail
  • Possesses superior organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects with shifting deadlines
  • Must have strong computer skills and knowledge of common programs such as Microsoft Office and G Suite
  • Previous experience working with federal contract regulations and the related laws is strongly preferred
  • Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Capable of professionally managing confidential information
  • Exemplify creative problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Contract Management
  • Experience working with JAMIS system or similar SAP/ERP programs
