If so, Trane Technologies is seeking to hire a Manufacturing Engineer at our Tyler, TX facility. Our Tyler facility manufactures residential HVAC products. 
 
 
 
As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will implement and communicate an operational plan for completing projects, monitor progress and performance against the project plan, resolve operational problems, minimize delays, identify, develop and gather necessary resources to complete the project. Design mechanical systems, develop schedules, budgets and forecasts, select materials, equipment, project staff and contractors. Estimate costs, resources and time required to complete. Monitor activities, allocate resources and assign tasks to ensure targets are met. Conduct project meetings and prepare targets in Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Productivity (SQDIP). Confirm project meets or exceeds project targets. Develop, implement and communicate strategy for project within business category and overall category equipment renewal image. Aid in development of overall business category equipment renewal strategy.
 
 
 
Responsibilities:
    * Oversee a variety of project activities, operations and project budgets.
    * Design, develop and implement project/business strategies through assigned department.
    * Oversee project team involvement/activities throughout the duration of the planned schedule (involvement ranging from mentoring young engineers and field work with maintenance technicians).
    * Communicate project status, business strategy and business goals with audiences ranging from production departments to maintenance, management and upper management.
    * Coordinate projects during concept, design and construction for renovations or line relocation/removal.
    * Equipment planning and asset renewal for both investment and expense budgets.
    * Technical support of equipment repair and evaluation for process/output improvement.
 
 
 
Qualifications:
    * Bachelor’s degree required (Engineering preferred)
    * Previous manufacturing engineering experience
    * Ability to collect data and predict/justify the End of Life (EOL) on critical equipment within assigned department
    * Demonstrated understanding of project management for mechanical principles related to a manufacturing facility. Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously.
    * Understanding of application equipment from concept through production output as well as troubleshooting and repair.
    * Aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes.

    * Powder paint processes
