Software Eng II (2151)

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for developing and testing of computer programs, databases and spreadsheets.
  • Collaborate with team members to determine requirements and participate in design discussions.
  • Display ownership and responsibility for the projects you work on.
  • Responsible for the validation of computer systems.
  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Four-year Computer Science degree, or equivalent experience.
  • Two or more years programming experience.
  • Ability to efficiently consume user requirements and build robust systems from that input.
  • Effective at communicating software design and implementation details to both technical and non-technical team members.
  • Ability to understand existing procedures / processes and apply that knowledge to new or updated projects.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Continuous desire to self-educate in areas of programming and technology.
  • Experience with C#, Windows application, SQL Server / databases, Excel or other data analysis tools is a strong plus.
