Software Quality Assurance Internship

Welcome to the world of land-based gaming. Light & Wonder’s gaming team builds cutting-edge technology, products, and content for the most iconic casinos and operators across the globe.

Position Summary
This position is responsible for assisting the SQA department with general tasks while learning  the software test methodologies and SG products. This internship is part-time and long-term and requires the individual to live in Las Vegas. (not a summer internship)


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Lab Maintenance:
  • Keeping EGMs in a working condition
  • Installing hardware in EGMs
  • General upkeep
  • Software/Firmware flashing of different systems hardware components.
  • Basic testing of software releases, customer issues, minor fixes, etc.
  • Test case writing, test plan clean-up.
  • Develop automation test scripts for repetitive tests.


Qualifications

Training and/or Experience:
  • Current enrollment in a college/university working towards a bachelor’s degree

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Working knowledge of computer operation and principles of computer hardware.
  • Passionate about technology.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with other team members.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Capable of working and completing tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to multi-task.

Working Conditions:

  • The work conditions are representative and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations
  • Ability to lift or move equipment that weighs up to 50 lbs.
