Social Media & Marketing Intern (Meme Master)

Job description

Forcefield (aka Resolved) is looking for a Social Media & Marketing Intern, otherwise known as a Meme Master, to join our team. We’re seeking someone who is a web3 enthusiast (or web3 curious) to help create and manage social media content and engage with relevant online communities to promote the Forcefield brand and projects. Above all else, we’re looking for someone who can craft beautiful memes to help spread our message.

This is an unpaid position. If you think you are under or overqualified we still encourage you to apply as we are prepared to adjust the scope of this role for the right candidate.


About Forcefield

Forcefield is building the connective tissue between web3 and meatspace (otherwise known as the real world). We help self-employed contributors, freelancers, NFT projects, and decentralized autonomous organizations (DAOs) safely and legally launch their projects and get the same benefits as centralized companies. Forcefield is a venture backed startup from a venture studio, Launch Factory, based out of San Diego, CA. 


Responsibilities

  • Get involved in web3! We want you to join web3 communities and DAOs that are interesting to you
  • Work with the core team to generate content ideas & marketing promotions
  • Develop content creation calendars for various social media platforms (Twitter is the primary focus. Other relevant platforms include Instagram, Discord, TikTok, & YouTube)
  • Manage community interactions on the various social media platforms
  • Conduct research on relevant or adjacent companies and their marketing campaigns (What worked? What didn’t? What resonates?)
  • Create beautiful memes


About you

  • You’re a human (or very believable AI)
  • You’re interested (or actively involved) in web3 and DAOs
  • General familiarity with web3 ecosystem is strongly preferred (You know what a DAO is)
  • You’re currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree 
  • Thrive on getting stuff done in an unstructured environment
  • 0-3 years of social media-related experience


Knowledge, skills, & abilities

  • You’re funny, witty, motivated, resourceful, or a combination of them all
  • Experience with social media platforms & campaigns
  • Canva or equivalent platform experience (bonus for Photoshop, Figma, or Illustrator knowledge)
  • Able to create & maintain marketing calendar social media platforms
