Chubb Associate - Westchester Professional Risk

The Role
This role will be part of our Financial Lines underwriting team within Chubb’s wholesale operation, Westchester.

The role will focus on underwriting new and renewal business with aspects of broker engagement, sales & marketing, and contract negotiations for a variety of Financial Lines products, including Directors & Officers Liability, Employment Practices Liability, Fiduciary, Crime, Errors & Omissions and Cyber Insurance.

In addition to Financial Lines, Westchester provides innovative specialty products for Property, Specialty Casualty, Environmental, Inland Marine, Product Recall, Small Business, Binding and Programs.

The Training Program (CAP)

Who are we looking for?
  • Bachelor’s degree in many majors will be considered
  • GPA Requirement of 3.0 or higher
  • Prior work experience summer internships or part-time roles
  • Leadership experience through work or involvement in community service, athletics, clubs, or other activities preferred
  • Technically adept/digitally savvy
  • Results orientation: a demonstrated ability to meet commitments under pressure
  • Practical intellectual agility: capable and confident in absorbing new information
  • Personal capacity: accepting and welcoming of additional responsibility over time
  • Communication skills: an ability to communicate successfully in various settings
  • Interpersonal/team skills: works effectively in groups
  • Initiative: an ability to take full ownership of work and show initiative as needed
