What is Sap Analytics/Cloud Functional and what does a Sap Analytics/Cloud Functional consultant do:
SAP Analytics Cloud is a new tool in the SAP portfolio to meet the needs of data visualization in the cloud. It is delivered as an all-in-one, SaaS-based product. It covers the needs of data visualization, budget planning, and predictive analytics. Its main function is the creation of data reports that can answer complicated business questions in a few clicks with the real-time analytics capabilities. Integrated with augmented analytics and smart visualization features, organizations can evaluate and predict business outcomes with an all-in-one solution.
The core functions of SAC comprise Business Intelligence, Planning and Predictive Analytics and consequently include all areas relevant to an intelligent enterprise. SAP Analytics Cloud is a holistic software-as-a-service solution.

Key Responsibilities and What you will learn and do as Sap Analytics/Cloud Functional consultant:
- Consultant will learn and be responsible for implementing data warehousing and reporting solutions based on SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, SAP S/4HANA Analytics and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) in various industry and functional domains.
- The consultant will interact with onsite team members or at times directly with customer to understand requirement or build as per given design.
- He/she will be responsible for technical implementation of the business model using HANA or BW/4HANA, performance improvements, replication of data from source systems and reporting on top of data warehousing using one of the SAP solutions like SAC or sometimes Business Objects.
- Consultant will use defined methodologies during requirement gathering, design, build/ test and deployment.
- You will learn full life cycle implementation on SAP BW or BW/4HANA or HANA Modelling and also experience with frontend reporting and dashboarding using SAC or BO.
- You will learn to create business blueprint as per the functional requirements provided
- You will learn to produce Technical design document, create prototypes
- You will learn to deliver solution as per the business blueprint and technical design
You will need good problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- You will learn SAP BW or HANA modelling and scripting or both including ability to write complex stored procedures. High level knowledge of various replication methods to HANA or BW
- You will learn various reporting techniques on top of data warehousing on SAP Analytics Cloud or Business Objects or Analysis for Office or in multiple tools
- You will learn various deployment modes of HANA and BW

COMPENSATION: Annual overall compensation will be in line with industry norms and includes an excellent benefits package. Relocation assistance will be provided based on project locations.

What you'll need:
- Be able to work for any US employer without sponsorship.
- Be open to relocation.
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree (preferably in Computer Science or related discipline).
- Strong communication skills paired with a desire to work as a software consultant.
- Familiarity with software development and exposure to Java/ Python/JavaScript/ C++/ CSS/HTML.
- SQL or database programming is preferred.
