The Quality Inspector role ensures that our trial and demo units function properly before shipped to our customers. Receiving incoming shipments, inventory control, processing testing information, completing minor repairs, and updating our databases are a key part of keeping the Engineering Service Group running efficiently. Work for a quality inspector is performed at our main distribution warehouse in Itasca Illinois.
 
Responsibilities and Duties 
  • Enter and maintain accurate information, inventory, and stock transfers into our database.
  • Test precision electronic products for proper functionality and accuracy.
  • Proactively identify areas to improve efficiency and initiate projects to achieve improvements.
  • Clean and perform minor / aesthetic repairs on products.
  • Re-package products and ready for shipment to customers. 
 
Qualifications 
  • Communication – must have both excellent verbal and written skills to communicate ideas and technical information.
  • Attention to detail – all processes from inventory to repair requests need a high level of attention and detail.
    ·     Time management skills – must have the ability to prioritize and organize work efficiently.
  • Use of hand tools – This job requires the experienced use hand tools.
  • Computer skills – the daily use of computers in a previous job experience is needed for this position including Microsoft office programs and custom software applications.
 
Requirements
  • No degree required.
  • Relevant experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 30 – 70 lbs. boxes
