West Texas Digital Campaign Specialist

TEGNA in West Texas (KWES-TV, KXVA-TV, and KIDY-TV) is looking for a Digital Campaign Specialist. This person will be responsible for creating and managing marketing campaigns on multiple digital platforms to boost revenue for the company and results for its clients. This position is ultimately responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and reporting of digital campaigns. The ideal candidate will have a passion for all things marketing and technology. You will be well-versed in the concepts surrounding digital marketing and how the Internet can become a strong asset to securing growing revenue. You will be tech-savvy and intuitive with great ideas to reinforce our marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Strategy
  • Coaching and developing sales professionals on our product capabilities
  • Give insight and suggestions for ongoing campaigns based on feedback from buyers
Campaign Pre-Launch
  • Assist in coaching sales on crafting quality messaging for various tactics (OTT, programmatic, website and app, etc.)
  • Assign targeting segments based on experience and overall tactic mix
  • Facilitates sales tasks to be completed to fully prepare a new client campaign for launch (creative, pixels, KPIs)
  • Responsible for compiling all elements of the insertion order and scheduling campaign to be trafficked
Campaign Post-Launch
  • Primary point of contact for local markets you support to our centralized buying, client services, and analytics teams
  • Support local market as client optimizations, revisions, upsells, and renewals come in from our post-sales teams
  • Continually refine and improve continuity between all workgroups
Requirements:
Qualifications
  • Manages time focuses on urgent and important tasks, avoids procrastination, follows up, shows strong attention to details, meets deadlines
  • Knowledge of web analytics
  • Excellent analytical abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of various digital media platforms and best practices
  • Exceptional communicator. Experience taking the lead in interdepartmental projects
  • Experience with digital ad messaging best practices (does not build the ads)
  • Actively listens
  • Exhibits good interpersonal skills, collaborating with others
  • Experience and familiarity in digital advertising
  • 4-year college degree or comparable work experience
Work Environment: Office

Travel: Occasionally: 10-25%
Work Environment Set: Office: normally performed in a typical interior/office environment
