Data Server Administrator/Developer

DCS is seeking a web server administrator with experience in server configuration and maintenance as well as web application development experience to support US Army Research Laboratory research objectives. Position based in Alexandria, VA. Regular travel to customer site at Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland

Essential Job Functions:
Configuration and maintenance of physical on-prem servers that run on Windows Server and utilize RAID storage
Administer account access for data shares
Support development of web applications for data cataloging and remote experimentation
Setup, initialization, and configuration of computers to prepare for use in research/experimentation
Additionally, the ability to support development of desktop applications is preferred

Required Skills:
Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain Secret clearance.
BS degree in Information Technology, Software Engineering, or Computer Science and Two years of experience.
Configuration and management of RAID Storage, specifically LSI MegaRAID systems
Configuration and management of Cerberus Enterprise
Experience with Windows Server
Experience with Amazon AWS EC2 VM configuration & maintenance
AWS Linux and Ubuntu Linux
Experience with HTML development including CSS and JavaScript
Managing SQL Databases, particularly MySQL or MariaDB
Experience with PHP 8
Experience with JavaScript
Experience with one of: C++, C#, Java

Desired Skills:
Experience development using Unreal and Visual Studio
Experience with MongoDB
Installation and configuration of operating systems including Windows 10 and Ubuntu Linux
Configuring and building PCs to meet customer performance requirements
Configuring networking equipment (routers, switches, etc.) to stand up local networks that may or may not have internet connectivity
Software testing
