Global Logistics Management Specialist

Responsibilities
  • Daily monitoring and tracking of inbound and outbound shipments. Implement logistics solutions and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure delivery target is fulfilled
  • Communicate effectively and positively with clients, colleagues, and vendors
  • Prepare, process, verify and maintain all necessary transportation documentation & information for the Customs Clearance of import and export shipments
  • Supervise transportation and logistics solution services and activities
  • Manage compliance requirements, such as to handle Customs auditing, comply with Trade Law, prepare annual report for FTZ
  • Proactively assess, clarify, and validate problems to find proper solutions on an ongoing basis
  • Maintain and enforce of Foreign-Trade Zone (FTZ) required tasks
  • Manage the KPI of Logistics Service Providers
  • Review and handle logistics related payment operations
 
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Transportation, Logistics or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • 3+ years of related experience in import & export, cargo tracking & exception handling, transportation or supply chain logistics, preferably with international experience
  • Knowledge and skill with import/export procedures, Foreign-Trade Zone, Harmonized Tariff Schedule codes, and international freight compliance such as customs regulations, documentation requirements, clearance procedures, and export control compliance
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Capability to identify continuous process improvement opportunities
  • Be able to handle stress effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Be able to analyze data and use customized software quickly and accurately
  • Self-starter with the ability to prioritize workloads and manage concurrent projects and timelines
  • Detail oriented, strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Solid computer skills - including Microsoft Office Applications and other Logistics Inventory Systems
